Eventree, an Edinburgh-based platform that helps festivals manage accreditations, access permissions and event workforces, has been appointed by Burning Man in a major international win for UK event technology.
The appointment means Eventree will provide vital accreditation support to one of the world’s most iconic and complex temporary events. Burning Man is a pop-up city in Nevada that welcomes more than 80,000 participants each year. Eventree will streamline how organisers issue and manage credentials, control access for teams and suppliers, and coordinate large-scale staffing in this challenging desert location.
By selecting Eventree, part of the Citizen Ticket Group, Burning Man signals a wider shift in the live event sector where festival operations are becoming increasingly data-led, controlled and secure, with organisers investing in specialist tools that can scale with growing requirements around access management, workforce coordination and event delivery.
