Funcode.hu, Hungary’s largest independent ticketing provider, has introduced refundable ticket options across its platform, giving fans greater flexibility when buying tickets for live events.
The new refund protection feature has been launched in partnership with Nuweb Group, funcode.hu’s long-standing technology provider, and Protect Group, a specialist in refund protection.
As Live Nation’s exclusive partner in Hungary, funcode.hu manages ticketing for major events at venues including the Puskás Aréna and MVM Dome.
Its platform supports international acts such as Metallica and Iron Maiden, alongside leading Hungarian artists including Azahriah and Pamkutya, whose most recent on-sale set new records.

Nuweb Group, which provides the underlying infrastructure for Funcode’s platform, says demand for refund protection continues to grow.
Data from across its partner network shows that 37 per cent of fans opt for refund protection – more than double the commonly cited industry benchmark of 15 per cent.
